Di sini terdapat sebuah masjid di mana saya suka berhenti berehat...
Hear is a mosque where I like to stop for rest...
Architecture-wise, it might not be any much different from any main mosque in Malaysia...
Its architecture could be said as one of several designs often used for mosques in recent times...
But there's something that feels old about this mosque... This old pulpit left at the mosque's verandah looks like it has a story to tell...
The net hanged at the sides gave a sort of atmosphere like that at fishermen villages...
Came the time for prayers...
Then rest a bit...
There's plenty of room for resting. If I'm not mistaken, this mosque is one of the favourite places for the Tabligh (an Islamic missionary group) people to spend the night in prayers!
Di belakang masjid, di seberang jalan utama terdapat sebuah kawasan perkuburan awam Islam...
Behind the mosque, across the main road there's a public Muslim cemetery...
Sekian! :]
On the left of the mosque is this monument saying "Replika Kota Kulit Kerang" (replica of the fort made from sea-shells"... As it is said by locals, once upon a time in this area there exist an ancient fort (perhaps an ancient city) with walls made from sea-shells. Maybe that's why the mosque has its own uniqe aura? That's all! :]
